Establishment of the company and setting up in the region of Sidi Saad-Mornag, Tunisia
Establishment of the first packinghouse with a storage capacity of 700 tons and a packing capacity of 20 tons/day
First mechanical harvest for olives high density orchard, second experience in the world after Spain.
Certification for peaches, plums, nectarines, pomegranate, grapes and olives.
Inauguration of the second packinghouse : Select Fruits. The storage capacity increases from 700 tons to 2300 tons and the packing one from 20 to of 60 tons/day that means 3 refrigerated trucks per day.
Investing in the region of Ouesletia (Kairouan) and the region of Matmata (Gabes)
Sadira has today a work force of : 30 engineers and administrative staff, 100 permanent employees and 600 casual workers.
Fruit specialization with a growing area of 300ha
Focusing on precocity, Sadira was one of the first companies to invest in Rgueb – Sidi Bouzid, producing stone fruits and table grapes.
The total growing locales reaches 600ha covering the Tunisian Territory from north to south as such: Cap bon, Mornag, Testour, Zaghouan, Rgueb and Meknassy.
